Happy New Astrological Year!

halocreationllc

The beginning of the Aries season is one that encourages us to release the old, allow the new to come in, to seize opportunities for us to grow and expand. It truly has ignited a fire within me. The planting of my seeds after spending a beautiful day releasing at my Spring Into YOU retreat on Sunday had allowed me to let go of the stagnant energy and thoughts. Now that does not mean that I will not hear that "itty bitty shitty committee" from time to time and it does not mean that the stories I told myself won't creep in; however, I have chosen to accept it as it made me who I am.

What are your ready to plant, nurture and place your energy in cultivating in your life this next year? Do you have a vision that you have been hesitant with? Not sure how to get there or how to start? My advice is to put it out there and "FEEL" it as if it has already happened in your life. Need help with bringing this into your life, reach out I can help.

For me, I feel I have come full circle in my yoga journey and I am meant to learn more, share what I learn or experience and continue to teach. A few weeks ago I was blessed and was asked to lead a Kundalini Yoga (KY) class for the month. For those that know my story, I started my yoga journey with KY with a friend back in 2006. Little did I know how much I missed the practice, history and chanting of this beautiful calming practice. If you have never experienced this type of yoga, I invite you to come with an open heart and mind this Saturday March 25th at 11am.

What is Kundalini? In the Hindu tradition, Kundalini is a form of divine feminine energy that is believed to be located at the base of the spine, the root chakra Muladhara.

Can a beginner attend? YES!! Although the practice is intense this is a perfect practice for all yogis.

What is a Kundalini Yoga class like? There are 3 parts to the class. You will begin class with a chant and movement to warm up, next are the Kriyas (pose and breath) and close with a meditation or closing song.

How will I feel after class? It has been my experience to feel energized yet relaxed, self appreciation and love, eases stress and anxiety, a cool tingling feeling as I practice is often common. Others have reported to feel aware of mind and body, warming or tingling of spine and feeling as if intoxicated due to the breath work and all the oxygen the body is taking in.

One of my seeds have been planted and shared with you. I invite you to follow me as I embark on this journey and continue to plant my seeds along the way.

Much Love & Gratitude!

~ Awilda
